Alignment guides in wireframing ensure consistency and precision by helping position text, images, and objects evenly across the layout. These line-based guides maintain symmetry, balance, and proper spacing, resulting in cleaner designs and clearer communication with stakeholders.
To use the alignment guides in the MockFlow Wireframing Editor,
1Open the grid settings by selecting 'Pages' from the Wireframing editor sidebar.
2Use the dropdown menu in the grid settings to choose 'Snap to Component', 'Snap to Grid' or 'No Snapping.'
- Snap to Component: Components automatically align with each other as you move them, with guidelines appearing for assistance at the allotted pixel.
- No Snapping: Guidelines are visible as you move components, making manual alignment easier.
