By using the 'Edit Instance' option, you can modify the selected instance without affecting the original symbol.
1Select the symbol instance and click on 'Edit Instance.'
2The selected instance can be edited from the settings sidebar.
Any changes made to the instance using 'Edit instance' (or by just double clicking) will not be reflected in the original symbol or other instances.
To edit the main symbol and apply the changes in all instances, refer to this to the edit symbols article.
3The change is made only in the specific instance of the symbol without affecting other instances or the main symbol.
