What is Build mode in MockFlow?

Build Mode is a powerful new feature in MockFlow WireframePro that bridges the gap between design and development by converting your wireframes into actual code. While MockFlow already includes a robust Specs feature to inspect UI elements, Build Mode takes things a step further by enabling instant code generation powered by AI.

What is MockFlow's Build Mode?

Build Mode is a smart, AI-driven tool inside WireframePro that allows you to:

  1. Generate code from your wireframes in one click.
  2. Choose your preferred framework or language (e.g., Tailwind, Bootstrap, React, etc.).
  3. Convert entire page or just selected portions of your layout for maximum efficiency and control.
  4. Manage and organize generated files via a built-in file manager.
  5. Download and integrate the code into existing or new projects.

This means you can go from idea to implementation faster than ever - skipping the manual frontend coding stage and letting Build Mode handle the translation from design to clean, reusable UI code.

Build Mode is currently in beta and is available exclusively for paid WireframePro plans. It uses your AI credits for each generation. If needed, you can purchase additional credits from within the app.

What Build Mode Does Not Do

While Build Mode is a major step forward in design-to-code workflows, it’s important to know its boundaries:

  1. It is not a no-code app builder like Bubble, Bolt, or Lovable.
  2. It does not host or deploy your application.
  3. It does not generate backend logic, APIs, or databases—only the frontend UI code.
  4. It does not build a complete app out-of-the-box; instead, it offers clean component-level code meant for developers to use and extend.
  5. It does not implement the interactions that you may have prototyped in the Design mode.

Think of it as a code assistant - not a full app automation tool. Build Mode empowers developers by giving them a solid UI starting point, aligned with the design, but it expects integration into real-world codebases to be completed manually.

Start using Build Mode today and turn your UI wireframes into usable frontend code - faster, cleaner, and developer-friendly.
